Chiang Mai - Day 2 Golfing

GREEN VALLEY COUNTRY CLUB

We decided to brave the heat and head out for a day of golf. $50 got us green fees, rental clubs and caddies Ahn and Pan. These poor ladies were decked out head to toe and it felt like 105* out. We kept them cool with ice cream and water breaks. Chris kept them laughing by being his usual self while my golfing talent kept them in awe. 126 strokes is a good score, right? Chris shot an 86 which was very good. The beer and ice cream were cold and
we had an awesome time.

TIGER KINGDOM

There was a tiger zoo just down the road from the golf course so our good buddy Jinda took us over there for a bit of rough housing. They had 28 tigers and 2 lions and it was your typical zoo setup, except that $10 gets you into a pen for 15min to pet them and take photos. There are some strict rules to follow so they don't eat you. I chose two 8 month old tigers that looked like fun. As you can see in the photos, they recognized me as the dominant alpha male and submitted to my will after a short mashing of teeth and nail. I thought they would make a fine pimp coat, but decided to spare their lives. Chris discovered that tiger tail is not as appetizing as you may think. He's still coughing up fur balls.
